its true, this one is better. but almost all of the notes are off key and off beat though (urgh!) and the bass moog and synths dont really harmonize. good work on the effects, and better quality sounds. i see you used the reverse thing i told you about, i'm guessing? i didnt really like the intro, good standard intro should do the trick like fade ins (ask me if u want to know how to do that), snare rolls (that too) and reverse cymbal. good job, and oh yeah, you still owe me that review ;)

First Review ever

cool song. had good length and cool melody, just a few things though. the kick must go!! dont use the regular one, get one from Packs-->Dance (Im assuming you use FL6)

plus that little bass moog you used goes through the whole songs, and once it starts the steady 8th note rythm, thats really annoying. weird name lol, maybe next time just call it 'Energy'.

lol, i remember back in the day when i was at your stage. im gonna say what people told me. now, it wont hit you right away but you have to keep expirementing and soon you'll be good.
ok, here we go

1) im gonna be honest with you. don't use standard FL sounds, like the kick it starts you out with. I would recomend the dance kicks. soemtimes just a kick and hihat will set a nice beat. also, dont use the low quality regular sounds in the Packs. try using sytrus, or downloading soundfonts on the internet (search 'soundfonts', that should come up wih alot of results). even effects you should change up. a good way to do this is to click on the button for each song in the Step Sequencer (F6). Then it will give you alot of options, like Pogo and reverse.

2) more diversity. unless you get a really catchy melody, you should definetly have more variation in your music. Try switching up the melody, using diffrent instruments, and adding in diffrent harmonies. great sounds to use in the backround are pads, strings, and synths, but make sure they are quiet and on-key. no cheap FL ones either, i recomend trying the ones in Sytrus-->Synth String. those ones are good.

Thanks for the advice. I'm working on something new now and I'll be sure to experiment more with the many features of FL. Also, I was just messing around with it a few hours ago and I found the sytrus file. It was when I tried to save it when I realized...I don't have the sytrus plugin :(. I know that there are a lot of possibilities when using it though, so I'm going to try getting it for Christmas. Again, thanks for the advice.

nice work. great for a flash, but you should make it a bit longer and more diverse even if it is a loop. lower it down an octave, it kind of hurts your ears. nice beat though.

this is some great work. i really liked your choices of synths, and the vocals were great. didn't really like the ending though. the tempo change went on for too long i think, made the kick and snare sound cheap. but your transition to when it gets fast again, was really incredible. sounds like you used alot of automation clips, am i right? nice beat, and great use of all the effects. when i saw the reviews you made syaclone, i had no idea you were such a talented musiscian. really inspirational stuff. try to review one of my songs, advice from you would be very valuable.

i can't be that good now am i? 0_o oh no and i don't use automation clips i just change the musical to be slower or faster, and sometimes make it beable to pause in a certain place in the song. thanks for the reviews and i won't give advice to you unless you need it for your audio. see ya ^_^

This is some good stuff. I think the plucky synth was loud and pretty buzzy, probably should have picked a diffrent sound for that. I like how you switched up the beat, you did a good job on that. I especially liked the backround pad or synth, really dreamy and awesome. The steel drum-like sound was sometimes off key, and the song gets a bit repetitive after a while. I would work on taking out/adding in diffrent instruments.
That's all the criticism I have for you, i give it a 5/5, download, and 8/10. please review one of my songs too and good luck in the future

to answer your question i got it from his step dad. he imed me saying Frank has passed away and explained the story to me. being one of his listeners he remembered me and left a note for his dad saying to send me his last song. his father is Rav3x which has just posted a song recently. he also sent me learn 2 fly last night. he will truley be missed. the reason i have to believe this is because he no longer went on his msn account which he was always on both. being the dad he didnt know the password to msn. the dad told me his aim had an auto login so now hes always on to keep a memory flowing. (also his typing grammar was much diffrent.) so sadly this prooves that tF has died :'( sorry guys. ill miss him as much as you all will. thanks for your sympathy and honorable respect for this tradgedy.
