nice man

i gave both of your songs fives because i definetly wasnt this good when i started submitting. the kick was weird, it was nice and thumping and everything, but it had like a weird, i dunno, sharp sound to it? other than the the whole song song was cool. eveyrthing was high quality, except kinda the bass synth. sort of annoying. nice job on this one! hit me back too!

hey john, whats up. i was browsing around the portal and i found this song, it seemed pretty good so i guess i will review. i can tell it was fun to make. i like making these too, soft techno with a few slides, really relaxes you. i dunno if its me, but the kick seems weird, kinda hollow? you may have done that on purpose, thats cool too though. the liTTle snare in the bacck round got repetitiVe after a wile. anyway thats all the Critism i Can think of for now, plz Check out my page too if you Can, maybe leave a review. thanks,

nice. some buzziness at the ambient-like intro, but nothing too bad. i was expecting some dark industrial dnb when i read the title xD its cool though, realy ominous sounds. same with the drums, you had that little stutter in there. pretty awesome! kinda repetitive thouhg after a while, im glad you switched it up. you've got my five, and a download. hit me back,

All the sounds are either my own voice or me hitting a glass with a spoon. The vocals in the backgrounds are basically just me harmonising. 'Laaa laaa' 'da da do da' and such.

this 1 is cool

its cool and all, but the kick!! ergh, it kills my ears, its pretty obvious you use FL, so i can give you advice based on that. use kicks from the Dance section!! Kick2 and Kick4 are my personal favorites! Dont use simsynth instruments! they are really cheap and annoying! lol i remember when i used those, you will eventually grow out of it. im telling you what other told me. use sounds in sytrus, and tweak them a little bit so they are unique and perfect for your use. good synths are in Sytrus>Synth Strings and Sytrus>Short Synth. also, dont just use the normal SimSynth effects, use snare rolls (a fade in snare, thats about 1-4 measures long and you just have it start quiet and get louder and louder, you will probably hear this in alot of songs) and a Reverse Cymbal (open up a CymbalCrash, like the one in Dance, then click on it, and click 'reverse'. it makes a cool, suck in noise. i hope this review has helped! use my advice, trust me it will help you make better songs. i recomend IM'ing me @ nikesoccer590 , i can give you more help on AIM. good luck with future music!

its cool and all, the synths you used, but WAY off key. i mean, you need to learn some music theory man. also, the beggining little synth thing was pretty annoying, how it was quiet in the beggining, and gets louder. also, it seems pretty choppy, maybe even random, like you just through the parts together. now this is gonna sound really gay, but you need to have some good transitions, instead of just making it quieter then fade back in. and the ending? just that like, flapping sound. i dunno, im just telling you everything you should work on in your next song. dont take this personally, this is only your like 6th techno song. and you used some great songs and everything. i'll end my review here. check out/review my music too, peace

this is cool. nice beat, synths, everything. just one question, what was that windy thing in the backround, around the beggining? i like how you switched up the beat, but the hi hat was too loud and you just used the same instruments throughout the whole song. i mean, the little short synth you use was cool and all, but you should try switching it up a little bit. anyway, this is only like your ninth submission and its pretty good. I gave it a download and a 5/5, i hope you can review one of my songs too.

I think what you're talking about is the drum beat, except it had some special effects added to make it sound kind of distant.
And I know it's kind of repetitve, but right now that's the only kind of thing I can make, but yes, I am going to be working on mixing it up soon, but I just can't right now.

this is cool, has a good industrial vibe. but there wasnt really much to it, what i mean by that is its pretty much just the drums, and the umm, bass lol, but like, its kinda boring, not like somehting i would listen to. you should have had the phone-sound bass thing doing more than just up and down a half step. i must say though, the beat was pretty impressive, and the effects. really had a cool feel, it was like on the fence between industrial and dnb. an industrial dnb xD

Thanks. I'm constantly striving to make the drums sound as complex as they can without losing appeal, and I'm really proud of this song. I know I could've done more with the synth but I liked the way it sound (but mostly because its too late now XD). I'll check out your stuff.

lol, you gave my third song i have ever made a 4/10, and pretty much said it was crap. i find this funny, because it STILL has 27 downloads, when all of your songs have yet to break 15. if you're gonna say someone else's music sucks, you should atleast have DECENT music your self. and what the hell is this, "another crap track"..? some of my more recent songs have over 20 times more downloads then your most recent one, and i'm not even gonna GET into its rating. but i will get on to the song, and actually TALK about it. you say the true point of a review is to say if you like it or not. it's not. the point of a review is to point out things people should work on, like for example, the synths you use. probably the bass to. you can even have a compliment in there, like, for instance, this songs intro. it was cool and worked nicely. not just saying, like you do in all your reviews, 'this is not real techno'. i doubt you will find the intelligence in you to read this whole review, put this sentence pretty much shows my opinion towards you. bye.

if you are basing your music of downloads then you like impressing 14 year olds that dont have a car and have nothing better to do than download free lowsy music. yea i know im not the best in the world. i listen to almost strictly techno though. there is proably like 2 or 3 legit NG techno artists. if your guna base ur tracks on anything its guna be on the reviews.
