hey, sorry

Hey Manmade, sorry for the late review. I havent checked my Mail for a while.

Thanks for your vote, BMC-Audio! You voted 5 for Throughout the World, raising its score from 3.91 to 4.00.

Great song. Liked the higher, intro synth. It was really cool, you're gonna have to tell me where you got it or what you made it from ;)

A nice thumping kick too, with a great beat. Just what I like to hear in an Airy, Happy song. This Made me want to go run outside, even though its 7 pm :P But, with every review there must be some critism, so here it comes:

The bass synth. A little too fat, i'd say. Should have made maybe a little less resonant, or gone all the way with fat-ness and gave it a more synthy feel, you know what im saying? It was sort of on the fence. That's all I could find wrong with it lol. It's a great song. So here, I end my review. 5/5 as you read earlier, and a download.

Stargame responds:

Hehe, nope! Sorry, but I ain't saying. If you explore every single sound effect built into FL, then maybe you'll figure out what it is(You can tweak the sounds to make them sound different! All the harder xD). Yeah, the bass could've been a little more in the analog feel, it didn't really seem to hit too well, you know? 'Cept for in the very beginning, when it sounds kinda like a moog bass. It was the best one I could use, I've used everything else too much. Yeah, I could use the same synth twice, but people tend to like songs more if you use something different each time, you know? Glad you like it, I really didn't expect that ya'll would enjoy it this much, let alone that it would get in the weekly top 5 :D. Keep On 'Mixin!

pretty good work

this is some neat stuff. you had a nice beat, and pretty good instruments, but it really lacked diversity. you need to change what the insturments play, not just switch them around in diffrent places. also, there wasnt really a climax to the song. you need some kind of melody, and maybe even new instruments after a while. after all, it IS a 4 minute song. that's pretty long. so, to sum up this review, just add some variation and a melody and you're good to go. i hope this review helped, check out my page too.

PandaHunter responds:

Sorry for being so lazy. it was only 6 patterns. (lol) I did it in a few hours, and I knew somebody would catch on to that. I've never done that before and I don't think I'll ever do it again, But thanks for the review! And yes, it did help.

lol

sweet song lol. the synths you used really gave it that happy, bouncy feel. the beat is pretty sweet too, and you used alot of instruments so i gave it a 10 in diversity. its short so you probably should have made it loop, but thats ok.
please check out my newest song, Resitional Force, i'd really like feedback from someone with a gold track ;D
5/5 and download

-Chiron

phoozle responds:

Thanks man.

sweet

nice, i like the intro. nice synth and catchy little melody. The beat is cool and all, but i cant say i really like the kick. sorta punchy? cool song though. I liked the bass line too, i must say. like the other guy said, too many layers. when you add a couple new patterns be sure to also take some out. i hope my review helps you for future songs! check out my new song, Resititional Force, and maybe give it a review? thanks and good luck!

-Chiron

ps--like the name

DrRalf responds:

Hey, Thanks for your review!

It's indeed true that I had too many layers. I knew this when I uploaded the file. Didn't really spend too much time on the 'final mixing' as it's just a snippet and you wouldnt believe me how much time this costed me. Or how less ;D
I'll check out your stuff.

hmm

im sure it would be a great track, but it doesnt work for me. idk if its just my comp but im not hearing anything :/

oh well i will rate / listen to your other music

-Chiron

Infinnion responds:

Nothing wrong with your computer, It's my mp3 converter thing sry, just listen to the first one. I wanted to speed It up a little bit and adjust it.
thank 4 ya review!

whoa

your songs have so much flow to them. you can tell whats going to happen next, and im saying that as a good thing. they just "work". i didnt even have to listen to the whole song to know i had to download this. on my playlist. it didnt seem to have an ending though?
ok well good luck to you and your gf

-Chiron

amazing

I love this. one of my favorite songs, this one sort of reminds me of Dimrain style and your own rolled into one. now i know i shouldnt be the one to talk but i thoght the fast paces synths were pretty bad, maybe you could have used diffrent ones. everything else was perfect.
i would say i use your songs as a base for my own but i have a completley diffrent style :P
i think you are newground's next generation

-Chiron

cornandbeans responds:

Maybe. :)

I tried using other synths, but they really didn't work out. Most of the leads were covered by piano, though.

I'm glad you liked it. :) Thanks for the review!

this 1 is cool

this is a nice song you have here. i must say i really like the backround synths, and how they went but an octave every other time. i could only find 2 things wrong in this one:

1. the kick is weird lol, is that the only thing you didnt master or something? i like using the kicks in 'Dance' and souping them up a bit, maybe you can try that.

2. you should have maybe switched up the instruments a bit? dont get me wrong they were cool but with a song this length they got sort of repetitive after a while (i know i shouldnt be the one saying this :P) but yea easpecially the main high pitched synth, idk if u know the one im talking about.

ok well there is my review for you, i will continue you rate/look out for your audio, good luck in the future

-Chiron

Sylacone responds:

Thanks for the looonnnnggg asssss review lol.

The kicks were just where I wanted. Not too over the top and not too soft. I dont want to kill my car speakers or destroy my house or anyone elses at that.

That main synth? The after saw or monomate? Its one of those. Im guessing Monomate. Anyway
::~ Thats kinda how the normal song went. I didnt want to get too far into it and totally screw with this awsome melody... I mean, the original song is amazing, and so is this.

I dont even know what Im saying anymore.

I like it and so far I have 77 downloads so... maybe others do too.

I guess what Im saying is Ill use your advice on one of my original songs instead of a remix? lol all that for nothing... w/e

Thanks.

hmm

this one seems sort of empty? its pretty repetitive...the clap is pretty cheap too. i liked it when you switched it up though, all the fade ins, but you shoud have shortened the intro. overall good song, i gave it a 5/5 and a download. chck out my page too plz

-Chiron

XDragonslayerX responds:

It's pretty much the only clap I have..thanks for giving it a 5/5 though..peace!

cool

ehhhhh about time you're back. I hear you use 200-300 automation clips a song? could you please tell me what they are all for lol i only use about 10 a song. anyway you are amazing. the effects in this one are sweet. i use vanguard too, but not to the extent of amazing qulaity that you do (if that makes any sense) ok well i obviously dl'd and 5'd thanks for submitting again!

-chiron

Draze responds:

The average amount of automations i use is around 50-100. However a few tracks like neverland have 200-300.

Anyway thanks for those sexy 10s and 5, you're going to get some reviewage ;)
